The PRINT vs TECHNOLOGY debate has been on for years with some preferring the sleek, cutting edge, high definition gadgets and some leaning towards the crisp, off white, fresh scented pages. We at bold love both! Call us indecisive… We recognise both as being valuable and indispensable. However, we also recognize that both cause immeasurable amounts of waste and irreversible environmental damage. So, bold decided to take a stand and create an object so simple and yet so effective that it could potentially make a difference. Behold a new kind of reading experience!

We decided to address the younger generations, those who are still able to change or mend their ways. Those who could grow with new beliefs and sound habits. We created a fairy tale book, packed with enchanted and beloved Brothers Grimms tales. However, unlike most books, ours was made from seed paper, thus meaning that the pages could be replanted and give new life after their use. We truly love the books rough, crinkly paper and all its beautiful imperfections. PlantIt was hand sewn, printed, trimmed and packaged by us at bold and we hope to be bringing this product to you as we believe in the greater good of simple actions.
