91 Magazine

Eight years. Every issue. One evolving visual language. For eight years, I designed 91 Magazine from cover to cover — shaping the typography, layouts, image sequencing and visual rhythm of each issue. The challenge wasn't simply to design individual pages, but to create an editorial language that could evolve over time while always feeling unmistakably 91.

A MAGAZINE MADE TO KEEP

Designed as a tactile, unhurried publication, each issue brought together interiors, makers and creative stories through a quiet and highly visual editorial language. Over the years, the identity evolved with the magazine — becoming more refined and distinctive while retaining the warmth, simplicity and focus on photography at the heart of 91.

INSIDE 91

Across every issue, the editorial language adapted to the story — shifting in pace, scale and composition while always remaining unmistakably 91.

PRINT TO SCREEN

The editorial world of 91 also extended into a digital e-zine, adapting the magazine’s visual language and storytelling for tablet while retaining the calm, considered feel of the print experience.

THE FAREWELL EDITION

After eight years, 91 Magazine came to a close with one final print edition — bringing together the photography, illustration, interiors and independent creative stories that had shaped its visual world.

For me, it marked the end of a long creative collaboration and a publication I had helped shape and evolve over many years.
